Comfortable stay with friendly staff

I had a really nice stay, as the room was comfortable and clean, and I appreciated that my request for summer duvets was fulfilled. The receptionist was super friendly, which made me feel welcomed. The location is quite convenient for exploring the area, and the hotel has a lovely swimming pool, although I didn't get a chance to use it. the breakfast could be improved with fresher options and perhaps a better variety of fruit.

great dining options and close to museums for city strolls

I loved that this place had so many great cafes and restaurants just a few steps away, like the local Sarah-Jayne's Cafe and the Angel Hotel Restaurant, where I enjoyed some delicious meals. plus, I was thrilled to find that the Chippenham Museum and Heritage Centre was a quick and easy walk from my room, making it perfect for my weekend city strolls.

I had a good experience during my stay. The room was in a newer block with a large bathroom and a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcomed. I enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast, which was a great start to my day. The location was convenient for exploring.

I could hear noise from the neighboring room, which was distracting. The TV lacked some main channels, which could have been more complete.

Nice stay, but needs a bit of updating

We had a comfy stay for one night. The lobby's super modern and the staff were friendly, which was a plus. Our room, however, was kinda dated and the bathroom fan just didn’t work. Had a lovely breakfast though. could improve on milk options for non-dairy folks.

Room upgrade made our stay great

So we stayed for 3 nights. The first room was kinda cramped for my tall boyfriend, but the staff were super nice and moved us to a better one the next day. The new room was fab! Had Sunday lunch here too, roast beef but missing some greens. Still, we loved the extra gravy and the bread pudding was to die for. Definitely recommend!

i had a really nice stay at best western plus angel hotel. the room was comfy and i appreciated the request for summer duvets being sorted out. the receptionist was super friendly n the hotel's swimming pool looked great even tho we didn't use it. everything was clean and the location was good for exploring the area.

the only downsides were that the breakfast could've been better and it felt a bit overpriced for what you get. also, the service during breakfast was kinda slow.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! We played some great golf at Manor House Golf Club and enjoyed cycling around. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was friendly, and the hotel provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a lovely room with great amenities.

We did have a bit of a letdown at breakfast. The food wasn't fresh when we arrived. A little more attention to detail could make the dining experience much better.
